LOS ANGELES (September xx, 2014) – Today the Guadalajara International Film Festival in Los Angeles - FICG in LA - presented by the University of Guadalajara Foundation in USA and CONACULTA, with Principal Sponsors University of Guadalajara, the Guadalajara International Film Festival, the Institute of Cinema Mexico (IMCINE) and UNIVISION, announced the celebrities who will attend the opening night gala on Friday, September 5.
FICG in LA previously announced that Academy Award nominee Demian Bichir (A Better Life, FX’s The Bridge), Rubén Luengas (Univision Radio), anchorwoman Gabriela Teissier (Univision TV) and NALIP (National Association of Latino Independent Producers) will be honored. Joining them at the festival will be the cast and filmmakers of the opening night film Las horas contigo (The Hours with You), Isela Vega (lead actress), María Rojo (lead actress), Cassandra Ciangherotti (lead actress), Julio Bracho (supporting actor), Arcelia Ramírez (supporting actor), Catalina Aguilar Mastretta (director), Roberto Sneider (producer), Berenice Eveno (director of photography). The festival also announced the addition of the short film Solidarity starring Elpidia Carrillo , who will be in attendance with the director Dustin Brown.
Cast members and filmmakers of the Closing night film En el último trago (One for the Road) are also confirmed to attend, including Eduardo Manzano (supporting actor), Jack Zagha Kababie (director), Yossy Zagha (producer).

LA GALA DE CLAUSURA TENDRÁ EL ESTRENO EN EE.UU DE LA PELÍCULA EN EL ÚLTIMO TRAGO
LOS ÁNGELES (2 de septiembre de 2014 ) - El Festival Internacional de Cine de Guadalajara en Los Ángeles FICG en LA - presentado por la University of Guadalajara Foundation in USA y CONACULTA , siendo los patrocinadores principales la Universidad de Guadalajara , el Festival Internacional de Cine en Guadalajara , el Instituto Mexicano de Cinematografía (IMCINE) y UNIVISION , ha anunciado el talento que asistirá a la Gala de Apertura este viernes 5 de septiembre y durante los días del Festival.
FICG in LA anunció que el actor nominado a los premios Oscar Demian Bichir (A Better Life , FX’The Bridge) , Rubén Luengas ( Univision Radio) , la presentadora Gabriela Teissier (Univision TV) y NALIP (National Association of Latino Independent Producers ) serán homenajeados con el Premio “Árbol de la Vida” .
La Gala de Apertura contará además con el reparto y equipo técnico de “Las Horas contigo”, película que abre el Festival. Estarán presentes Isela Vega (actriz protagonista), María Rojo (actriz protagónica) , Cassandra Ciangherotti ( actriz protagónica), Julio Bracho (actor de reparto) , Arcelia Ramírez (actríz de reparto) , así como Catalina Aguilar Mastretta (directora de la película) , Roberto Sneider (productor ) y Berenice Eveno (directora de fotografía) .
El festival también ha anunciado que se proyectará el cortometraje Solidaridad, Asistirá a la apertura su protagonista Elpidia Carrillo y su director Dustin Brown.
Miembros del reparto y los realizadores de la película de clausura “En el último trago” han confirmado su asistencia , incluyendo Eduardo Manzano (actor de reparto) , Jack Zagha Kababie (director) y Yossy Zagha (productor ) .
